visualSilicon is a collective of experts who each work on the projects that excite us most. Each of our developers has their own skill set and bed of knowledge, but we come together with a shared vision. We want to empower startups and growing businesses, using our knowledge to bring the layers of their operations together.
By allowing our partners to focus on developing their core products and services, we hope to enable creativity and innovation in technology. Only then can we find solutions to today’s problems and create the tools that we will need tomorrow. We have always focused on creating communities and hiring people from all backgrounds, to foster an industry full of diversity and shared knowledge.
If you believe you have a skillset we might be interested in and would like to join us, either part-time, full-time or flexibly, get in touch. Everyone who joins us has 100% flexibility about where and when they work, and on what projects. This, we believe, is the future of work.
Currently, I’m midway through an Integrated Master’s (Msci) Degree in London, with a focus on Machine Learning. Continuing from a 15-month Bioinformatics placement, I’m currently co-authoring a Proteomics publication with the Institute of Cancer Research.
My recent project collaborators include academics from Harvard Medical School and the European Bioinformatics Institute. Proficient in several programming languages and familiar with various domains, I am always passionately eager to learn and explore interests.
Felicity is a writer, who also happens to have experience running growing businesses. Alongside her career as a business journalist and freelance writer, both in the UK and internationally, she grew and ran a software company with her sister, which they successfully sold in 2020.
Brian has been in Marketing and Management for more than 30 years. He held senior positions with Marshall Ward, GUS, Fine Art Developments and Early Learning before switching to the agency side in the 1980s.
I started Dog Day Games Ltd to follow my passion back to creating apps and games - developing own mobile IP but also taking on contract work for all platforms.
Originally a software engineer by trade, I have worked with a variety of games companies during my early career. More recently working at a multi-national semiconductor IP company, where I specialised in mobile graphics and creating and marketing demos to evangelise a popular mobile GPU to developers and publishers.

I started working seriously in 1977. Beginning at Hanna-Barbera Productions in Sydney, Australia, where I learnt how to animate the old way on shows like Scooby-Doo and Popeye. You can find out more about me on Pencil & Pepper website.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, where I have lived for the past 12 years, I have obtained a PhD in “Computer Science” and have worked at local IT companies in the financial and insurance industries. My experiences have given me a strong background in working with Oracle DB, NodeJS, AWS and C#.
Navigating the complex landscape of today’s technologies can be very challenging. Whether you are creating a new product, starting up a new business that relies on technology or planning to do so as part of a Hackathon or a Startup weekend, you can benefit from experiences and skills of someone who knows their way around. My name is Ramin and I am the founder at visualSilicon®, a technology startup based in Cambridge, England.
Together with a small team spread in three different countries, we design and develop complex industrial software systems, take care of your highly technical support engineering and, last but not least, provide support and consultancy to teams who are facing the aforementioned challenge. For a bit of history, I have been a software programmer since 1994. Professionally, in addition to many entrepreneurial activities, I have worked with several international Computer Games and Visual Effects companies in the UK, in Microprocessor / Semiconductor design as well as within the Aerospace industries since 2007.
I travel frequently and live in Cambridge, England permanently where I have built a strong professional network and made many amazing friends.
We are excited to work with innovative, ambitious companies that believe we can achieve more by working together. If you have a problem you need solving, or a gap in your software offering - or you’d simply like to learn more about our services or what a partnership with us could look like - get in touch!
